Zora’s Daughters acknowledge the Paskestikweya people and Lenape people and their ancestral lands, which includes the site in Harlem where our institution, Columbia University sits today alongside where we record this podcast.

We humbly offer our respect to these peoples past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. We know this acknowledgement is not enough in service of decolonization. We hope it is an opening for all to consider the ongoing anticolonial movements for identity, sovereignty, and self-determination of all Indigenous peoples.

We invite you to honor the Lenape and Paskestikweya with us and join us in our commitment to work towards rights for all disenfranchised people by correcting inequities of all marginalized people.
